Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Floor Disc (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Floor Disc lets a subscriber upload an image to a personal “disc” that can be displayed by any VRChat world running the Floor Disc integration, attached to the subscriber's avatar. Floor Disc is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by VRChat Inc. Use of VRChat itself is governed by VRChat's own terms and community guidelines, which you're separately responsible for following.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create a Floor Disc account. This is a paid subscription and we don't offer accounts for minors.

4. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. We may require email verification before certain features (like subscribing) are available. You're responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Subscription and billing

Floor Disc is a recurring monthly subscription billed through Stripe at the price shown at signup. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; canceling stops future renewal, but your disc keeps showing in-world for the rest of the period you've already paid for, and you can undo a cancellation before that period ends. A failed payment is different: your disc stops appearing as soon as the payment fails, since that period was never actually paid for (your uploaded content isn't deleted either way, and reappears the moment you resubscribe or your payment is resolved). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change subscription pricing going forward with reasonable notice; changes won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.

6. VRChat username

You may link a VRChat display name to your account so your disc can be found in-world. We do not currently verify that you actually control the VRChat account whose name you enter. Entering another person's VRChat username without their permission is a violation of these Terms and grounds for suspension.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the images and descriptions you upload. By uploading, you grant Floor Disc a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, resize, compress, and display that content as part of operating the Service. You're solely responsible for making sure you have the rights to whatever you upload.

Uploaded content goes live immediately and is reviewed afterward, not before. You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, is sexually explicit involving minors, harasses or threatens others, or otherwise violates VRChat's own content guidelines (since your upload will be displayed inside VRChat). We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, for fraudulent or abusive use, or for nonpayment.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floor Disc isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
