Add to your world

Opens the VRChat Creator Companion and prompts you to add the Floor Disc repository. If nothing happens, VCC may not be installed or registered to handle this link — use the manual steps below instead.

Add manually

1. In VCC, go to Settings ▸ Packages ▸ Add Repository.
2. Paste the repository URL above and confirm — accept the follow-up dialog listing Floor Disc too.
3. Open your world project in VCC (Manage Project) and look for Floor Disc in the package list.
4. Don't see it yet? Fully quit VCC and reopen it — VCC sometimes doesn't show a newly-added repo's packages as addable until it restarts.
5. Click Add. Floor Disc should now appear under Installed Packages — that's your confirmation it actually downloaded, since Unity won't show anything until you open the project.

Set it up in your scene

From the Unity menu bar, run Floor Disc ▸ Quick Setup. One click creates the GameObject, assigns the bundled Quad prefab, and generates slot URLs — no manual GameObject/prefab/menu juggling. Safe to run again later.

First time this project has seen Floor Disc, it needs one extra step: it creates a required internal asset and asks you to run Quick Setup a second time (Unity reloads scripts in between) — this only ever happens once per project.

Then enter Play Mode or Client Sim to test — nearby players should get a disc under their feet within a second or two.

Promote it in your world

Drop one of these posters somewhere visible so visitors know to grab a Floor Disc of their own.
